HopeCBD Tea – Up Close

The hype surrounding Cannabidiol (CBD) products at the moment is growing by the day. The methods to supplement CBD seems to merely be limited by our imaginations. From oils, pastes,  edibles, topicals to vapes and everything in between. Sometimes however it’s good to keep things simple and they don’t get simpler than a nice relaxing cup of CBD tea.

At HopeCBD we have two types of teas in our product range. Each is infused with CBD rich hemp and have additional ingredients that make them the best tasting hemp teas on the market.

Our CBD Teabag range includes a morning and an evening tea, each with a blend of natural ingredients that help you either kickstart or wind down your day.

In this article, we are going to look more in depth at the ingredients and benefits of Hope CBD’s Morning & evening Teas.

Apart from the Cannabidiol (CBD) itself – a complex natural compound found in the hemp plant of which our products contain 20mg CBD & CBDa per bag, the HopeCBD teas each have a delicious natural herbal blend which delivers arguably the best tasting CBD & Hemp teas in the market.

Green Tea

Green tea is a type of tea that is made from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis that have undergone the same withering and oxidation process used to produce other teas like Black & Oolong tea. Originating in China, green tea is now consumed and enjoyed all over the world because of its many associated benefits.

Achillea

Achillea Millefolium, to give it’s full scientific name, is more commonly known as Yarrow which is a flowering plant in the family of Asteraceae. Like many plants and herbs, it is known by many different names depending on where you are in the world.

In New Mexico and southern Colorado, it is called plumajillo(Spanish for ‘little feather’) from its leaf shape and texture. In antiquity, yarrow was known as herbal militaris, for its use in stanching the flow of blood from wounds. Other common names for this species include gordaldo, nosebleed plant, old man’s pepper, devil’s nettle, sanguinary, milfoil, soldier’s woundwort, thousand-leaf, and thousand-seal

Echinacea

Echinacea is a group of herbaceous flowering plants in the daisy family. The genus Echinacea has nine species which are commonly called coneflowers but its name is derived from the Greek word ekhinos meaning “hedgehog”, due to the spiny central disk of the flower.

Lavender

In ancient times Lavender was used for its gentle and soothing fragrance.

Used by Greeks and Romans in the public baths, the word lavender is derived from the Latin word lavare, or to wash. As a strewing herb, lavender not only offers a pleasing scent but remains universally delicate and lovely aroma for households worldwide.

Along with calming and antidepressant properties, lavender has been used both cosmetically and therapeutically for centuries –  the scent of lavender produces a sedative, calming effect. Drinking lavender in tea has been shown to reduce migraines. The flowers used to make the tea contain medicinal compounds are anti-spasmodic which helps to relax the blood vessels and the small muscles in the neck.

Linden

Linden is a variety of tree from the genus Tilia, whose flowers, leaves, and extracts have been used for medicinal and decorative purposes for many years.

The flowers are yellow and once they are dried, they can be brewed for teas.  Linden is growing in popularity around the world as more research is being done. The health benefits of linden in tea are largely due to the high concentration of phytonutrients, flavonoids, and other diaphoretic substances.

Valerian

Valerian has been used as a medicinal herb since at least the time of ancient Greeks. Furthermore, was used during the First and Second World Wars for treating shell shock and nervous stress.

Preparations of valerian marketed as dietary supplements are made from its roots, rhizomes (underground stems), and stolons (horizontal stems). Dried roots are prepared for teas, providing calm-inducing sleep aids and relief from insomnia. Valerian contributes to the relief of depression, mild tremors, epilepsy, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, and chronic fatigue syndrome. Some women use valerian for menstrual cramps and symptoms associated with menopause, including hot flashes and anxiety.

HopeCBD’s Evening tea is a true delight! The combination of these natural herbs and plants, along with organic CBD, provides a light, fruity and delicate tea.  Thusly, they are perfect for unwinding after a long day and helping you get the sleep you need before taking on tomorrow!
